TXM Sponsors Women in Transport 2023 Advance Mentor Programme

We’re proud to be sponsoring Women in Transport's 2023 Advance Mentor programme for the sixth year running!

The Women in Transport (WiT) Advance programme was established in 2017 to address the needs of professional women across the transportation sector looking to develop and progress their career. Described as 'the mentoring programme designed by women in transport for women in transport', the Advance programme has supported 220 mentees and mentors to date and features virtual training and one-to-one mentoring and engagement sessions. The programme was founded and is delivered by Sonya Byers, Chief Executive of Women in Transport, and Angela Gainsford, a long-standing member of Women in Transport.

TXM has sponsored the programme since 2018 with TXM Group Director, Gary Lincoln taking a key role as a mentor on every programme as well as supporting WiT on External Partnerships. “TXM Group is incredibly proud to support the Advance mentoring programme for the sixth consecutive year,” says Gary. “It’s been a real privilege to support this rewarding programme from both a company and personal perspective. Mentoring is a gift, the key that unlocks potential. To give someone your time to grow, develop and to overcome a challenge, simply by passing on the parcel of knowledge is a true privilege.”

For the 2023 programme, WiT has 30 places available for mentoring pairs – applications are now open and will close on Monday 17th October 2022. More details and information on how to apply can be found here.
